Black Mountain- Tina “Nana” Hughes, 83, went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, January 11th 2010 with her family by her side.
Nana was born in CarterCountyTenn. to the late Lemuel and Bessie Dugger. She was predeceased by her daughter Judy Scott of Ohio. Ms. Hughes worked as a waitress at the Campfire Steakhouse in BlackMountain. Everyone that met her made a friend for life.
She is survived by a son Randy Hughes (Linda) and 2 daughters Shelia Barrera (Daniel), and Patsy Smiley, sisters Ruby Taff and Joyce Wheeler (Timothy) and brothers, Shelton Dugger and Gary Dugger (Debbie).Tina had 21 grand children and 29 great grand children along with many that called her “Nana”.
The Funeral Service will be Wednesday January 13th at 7 pm at Victory Baptist in BlackMountain. The family will receive friends from 6pm until the service hour at the church.
